Meet Michele
Thank you for considering me as your pet portrait artist! I love creating portraits that remind people of the joy, love, and inspiration they find through their animals. Through the ups and downs of life, gorgeous artwork featuring the family members we love (including the furry variety) reminds us of what truly matters.
I’ve been a pet parent since I got my first dog, a Lab/Shepherd mix named Shalimar, when I was 13. Since then, I’ve always had at least one dog and the occasional cat in my home. My current fur baby is Kera, a crazy and wonderful Great Dane. I’ve also worked as a dog walker and pet sitter. My friends and family may think I’m the crazy dog lady, but nothing beats the unconditional love of a pet!
Pets may be my greatest passion, but that’s closely followed by my love of photography. I studied my craft in college and started my own business in 2016. I moved from Illinois to Washington in 2021 and I’ve been working with Washington’s best pets and their families ever since then!
I approach all of my work with an artistic vision, observe details, and create something meaningful for each client. My favorite part of being a photographer is witnessing the relationships between my clients and their animals; I’m a big believer that everyone has a story to tell, and it’s a joy for me to help them tell it.
After a long day of capturing a pet's (and their humans) story, there is nothing better than coming home to my (big) baby girl Kera and a good book or tv show. My favorite genres are sci-fi or mysteries. I also love doing day trips around Washington with Kera as my co-pilot. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Let's start a conversation and create something beautiful together!
